The Backseat

Hey y'all!  My blog has taken the backseat to my busy schedule as of late.  I apologize and hope to catch up soon.  In the meantime, I've found a new website (thanks to my SIL, Julie) that I'm loving.  The recipes are easy, delicious and insanely healthy.  Did I mention they're delicious?  Like better than the bad stuff delicious.  Check it out:

So far, we've had the chili turkey burgers (recipe here).

and last night I made the steak with avocado salsa but without the broccoli salad - we had baked sweet potatoes instead (recipe here). 

Jared and I both were blown away with just how good it was.  It was better than regular filet mignon and packed with tons of nutrients.  I'll be making the mustard-lime chicken tonight (recipe here). 

These meals are packed full of flavor - so much that you don't even need condiments.  That's saying A LOT coming from someone who has the tendency to drown her food.  I know it's bad, it's a constant struggle.
